your retreat includes: 6 days & 5 nights at topia retreat reserved entirely for us, all meals & non-alcoholic bevvies (coffee, brunch, snacks, and dinner), daily movement, activities, and intentional group experiences with the bhn team with space for enjoying sunshine, swimming, solo restoration + a break from daily decision-making in the peak sunny season in baja california (+ transportation to & from the airport to the retreat). 

rooming: the entire retreat space is for us! THE BEAUTIFUL ROOMS W/ INDIVIDUAL BEDS WILL BE ASSIGNED BASED ON THE GROUPS THAT FORM. THERE WILL BE PLENTY OF SPACE FOR SHARED TIME AS A GROUP AND SOLO TIME TO RESTORE AS NEEDED. EACH WEEK HAS 2 PRIVATE ROOMS AVAILABLE AT AN ADDITIONAL COST [1 LEFT IN EACH WEEK]

We’re proud to host a women's wellness retreat centering connection through movement, mindfulness, and community. 

ROOT & RIISE is led by a collection of Black women in Seattle who value community, honor our roots, and see rest as resistance. Our retreat experience, just as the name suggests, provides curated moments that allow you to step away from daily decision making to reground to your core values and reconnect to you, to others, and to nature.

Join us for a stay in El Pescadaro, Mexico outside of cabo at Topia retreat. This stay includes 6 days and 5 nights, all meals (coffee, brunch, snacks, dinner, and non-alcoholic beverages), daily movement, intentional group experiences, transportation to/from Cabo San Lucas  airport, and most importantly, space and time to root down and rise up. Our stay will fall during the Mexican holiday Dia de Los Muertos, a holiday dedicated to paying respects and remembering friends and family members who have died. Our group will have the opportunity to share some part of this experience in the local town.

Housing/Rooming: The entire retreat space is for our group. The beautiful rooms include individual beds that will be assigned based on the groups that form. There will be plenty of space for shared time as a group and solo time to restore as needed. The resort includes two(2) private rooms at an additional cost based on availability.
